3Dfx Voodoo3 3500TV Video Card Review By: Joe

Review : 3dfx Voodoo3 3500TV AGP

The Connections :

The connector is very interesting. It is a P&D Digital Flat Panel connection rigged to work with the breakout box, and the VGA connector. Pretty inventive I think. kudos to 3dfx for using this innovative connection to move the signals.

Next to it you can see the FM signal in and the ANT in COAX wires. And that's all that actually goes onto the PC.

The VGA wire to your monitor comes off a "Pig tail" connector that comes from the back of this massive beast of a plug.

The Layout :

I was sort of hoping for a fan on the heat sink, but it is the biggest heat sink for all the cards I have seen. It get's plenty hot still. Its the most compact compared to other cards with a TV tuner onboard. Unlike a few other cards there are no "audio out" or "audio in" jacks on the face plate for it.  They are located on the the PCB for internal hookup to your sound card.
