RoundUp - Final Conclusion and Rankings
Well that wraps up this Matrox Roundup. Below are my rankings and ratings for each card looked at in this roundup. Please Post on the Forums and Discussion or questions you have. I know in the Matrox world there are plenty that know more then me. Please correct me if I am off on a fact or figure. Even though I strive to have accurate Data, stuff happens! :)

Explanation:
Being the first card ahead of the rest in the Gseries it had allot of proving to do. It did so with ease. Except for essentially no 3D support
to brag about, the card makes a good stable video card for Windows work, or graphics work. Suiting for a Corp. workplace But not for Gamers, or speed freaks.

How it Ranked:

Explanation:
Also having to prove to the industry that it knew what it was doing, it absolutely crushed the rival ATI offerings at one point.
But as with the Mil. G200, Because of No 3D features, and the old Core, it really cant be considered for Serious gamers. The DVE portion is a neat tool, and I can see some Techno geek really liking it. The Price is a bit steep for a everyday user though.

Explanation:
The First offering to the G400 Market was the G400 16mb. This card brought the revolutionary G400 Core to the people.
This is the low end of the G400 cards yet still towers over the top line G200 in 3D and 2D Performance. The Card is on the fringe of a gaming card, and also can do some beautiful CAD and OpenGL rendering. A good solid overall card.

How it Ranked:
Explanation:
Taking the same feature set as its 16mb sibling, and doubling the ram makes for a card that can do some respectable 3D resolutions, as well as some
extreme 2D Resolutions. This card packs the usual suspects : Dual Head, EMBM, 300Mhz RAMDAC. Makes a nice and economical Gaming card for the mid range user.

How it Ranked:
Explanation:
The First and only real change in the MGA-G400 chip to happen. This card boasts a blistering 360Mhz RAMDAC, 32mb of 240Mhz Samsung SDRAM,
And all the Usual Bits and Pieces that has made the G400 so awarded. This card is the fastest made by Matrox currently. With its speed, and capabilities, it gets very close to a perfect card. 3D is still lacking compared to others. Possibly more then a everyday user would use though.

After my initial review of this card, I did reconsider the 3D ranking based on a bit of feedback I recieved.
Explanation:
With the Natural Progression of chipsets came the best yet All-in-One Solution from Matrox. It boasts an impressive feature set, and speed. It
functions flawlessly while using almost every feature at once. Very impressive. Its Speed is a bit less then prefect, but still Matrox made a killer card with this one.

How it Ranked:
Explanation:
This card is quite amazing in the capabilities it packs.
It will work on almost all G200/G400 cards (MMS and Marvel Excluded). For the Price I think its well worth it if you want a TV tuner function and you already own a Gx00 based card. Its instability, and problems I had during testing didn't make me feel like it was fully baked yet. Possibly some new drivers will fix it.
