Matrox G-Series Video Card Rounup By: Joe

After completely stealing the show from other All-in-One makers, Matrox added insult to injury
with the release of the MGA-G400 chip. Because this meant only one thing, The next Marvel card would answer so many of the questions people had about poor 3D performance in the G200 series, and also offer the highest quality/performance All-in-One package in the industry.
With only 16mb and the non MAX core, the card is still a screamer. This time it was ATI that's playing catch-up.
The breakout design that was first brought out in the G200 series remained, and kept the card clean, and free of cables everywhere. Coupled with the Dual Head features, this card not only put the competition to shame, but made by far the most versatile, and feature rich card to date.
Even though it was hard to one-up the G200, the only card up to it was the G400.
