The SMC USB to Ethernet Hub

Here is the USB Nic I used. It is one of the few things I was able to get working on the first try with NO problems. Its fast, stable, and just works. It works at 100Mbs, but as many now that's beyond the top speed for the USB so it actually doesn't run at top speed. Its Bus powered, and only requires one USB cable, and one Ethernet Cable. Its so simple its scary!

The Franken-Opener Lives.... Beware

Just a Short Wrap up - The Machine runs fast, stable, and is one of my favorite machines. It only took me 2 days to complete it. It took me 3 days to do the write up for it :) Its a bitch'n machine and look for an article about it going into my car. I have an existing GPS (Garmin GPS 3+) that I am going to be running to a Serial to USB adapter and run this box as a moving map and voice nav system in my car on trips.
